I am a Journalism and Mass Communication graduate from Sheffield Hallam University, with a deep passion for audio and radio production. My experience as a brand marketing assistant, podcast producer, and documentary assistant has equipped me with the skills needed to create compelling audio content. Fluent in French and Lingala, I bring a dynamic and multicultural perspective to my work. I am eager to contribute my creativity and enthusiasm to the audio production industry. As an entry-level freelancer, I am excited to explore new opportunities and make a meaningful impact in the world of audio and radio.

Autism and ADHD

Abigo looks at autism and ADHD in women and in particular explores the fact that many neurodivergent women are not diagnosed until adulthood. Abigo asks questions such as whether autism and ADHD are related, why neurodivergent women are diagnosed with ADHD and what AuDHD is?
Abigo starts her journey by speaking to Heather, a fellow student from Sheffield Hallam University who received an autism diagnosis a few years ago, before chatting to Belinda O'Hooley, a singer-songwriter and pianist from Yorkshire, England. Belinda talks about the life-changing impact of finally receiving an autism diagnosis. Singer songwriter, Heidi Tidow and her wife, singer-songwriter and pianist, Belinda O'Hoole were nominated for Best Duo at the 2013 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Their 2016 album Shadows was given a five-star review in The Guardian, and four of their other five albums, including their 2017 release WinterFolk Volume 1, have received four-star reviews in the British national press. In 2019 their song "Gentleman Jack", from the album The Fragile, featured as the closing theme for the BBC/HBO television series Gentleman Jack.

Reform Radio- Misfits Fit In

"Misfits Fit In" is an hour-long celebration of individuality and self-expression, produced by a team of Manchester's radio talent. The program features a compelling audio drama exploring diverse local stories, a news report on upcoming bank holiday events, and an exclusive interview with a contestant from the BBC's Great British Sewing Bee. Additionally, it covers introspective topics such as irrational fears through a humorous sketch about anxiety and offers moments of mindfulness to help listeners find calm in their busy lives.
